WE GOT THE CALL TODAY!!!!!!
We have another baby girl!! I'm so excited! There aren't enough exclamation points to use at times like this!!!!!!!!!! It's been a few hours and I'm STILL shaking.
So much for 2-4 months!
She was born on 1/4/09. She weighed just under 6 lbs and was 19 inches long. Her name will be Chloe Mei. Mei is actually her birth grandma's name, and it means littlest sister, beautiful and Rose (Sara's middle name) in Chinese! She's absolutely beautiful. Sigh. I'm SO happy. :) :)
Here's the pics I received of her today. We got a video too, but I still need to figure out how to make it work.
Yahoo!!! We have a baby girl!!!
(Amidst our joy, there is a young woman in Taiwan who is hurting tonight for her infant daughter. If you could, please pray for Chloe's birthmom and family tonight. Thank you.)

What a little cutie. Congratulations!
You asked about headbands... the person that I bought the big gerbra daisy ones from on ebay isn't selling any right now. I peeked. There are lots of sellers on ebay and etsy. I could recommend buying ones that are cotton/lycra and not the ones that look mesh-like. You can buy ones with the flowers stitched on, or ones where the flower is a hairclip clipped onto the headband. Our gerbra daisy ones are stitched on, but I just got some plain headbands that I'm experimenting with clips. I'm liking the plain ones because you can get just the headband situated first and then clip the flower just where you want it. When it is sewn on it is more secure, but you have to land the flower in just the right spot. If she has a lot of hair, you can't slide it around because it messes up the hair. Also... when you buy clippies, buy from a maker that puts a strip of grippy foam on the inside of the clippie. There are lots of etsy sellers that will do this, and it makes it so the clippie really sticks to that fine baby hair. Hannah wore a clippie all evening tonight even with getting in and out of the carseat a few times, and there's NO WAY that it would have stayed in without the strip of grippy stuff.

Oh my goodness Michelle! What a wonderfully, surprising little bundle of joy for you, Todd, Jake and Sarah. Can't believe you and the Becks got referrals within a day of each other - she told me the good news this morning. I hadn't been on the Internet yet (shock!) to see it for myself. Happy Day to you all!!!
So precious! Congratulations!

She is precious!!!! Congratulations. I adopted from Kaz and keep my son's birth mom in my prayers frequently. She gave him life and I hope to teach him how to live it. All the best, Susan
